CBLA Farm Program

Greetings Family,
Recently,  teacher & Lucumi Priest of 40 years, Oba Ernesto Pichardo has presented a wonderful project to the world; The Church of The Lukumi Babalu Aye Farm Project. The program focuses on bringing the community together regardless of what one practices in the African Diaspora, and saving the planet that most take for granted. More importantly, the project brings together the local, and global communities; thus, connecting individuals from a deeper place of understanding of ones environment, self, and one's community.

The CBLA project will focus on incentives that deal in the area of sustainability, which includes farming, organic gardening, herbal medicine, nutrition, along with many other wonderful projects.

One of the most important programs that the Farm Project has created is the ECO Team program. This program focuses on rescuing medicinal plants in areas that have been abused by man due to garbage dumping, and waste left in the environment. In addition, it will provide a place where Lucumi practitioners can recycle scared herbs that are used for ceremony, hence providing a place where used herbs can be recycled and not thrown away. An extra benefit is that the Program will beautify the area, at the same time saving the place we call home.

There's so much beauty that this Program will bring to the world. I will most definitely keep the H2O family posted on the Farm's progress. Please check out the video posted above, and please pass it along to individuals in your network. If you would like more information about how to donate, and or volunteer with CBLA's Farm Program please e-mail Oba Pichardo at: olukumi@hotmail.com

Much Love Family,
Radiah Nunez
Founder Of The H2O Network
