The Eagle's Nest With Khadijah Abdullah

Greetings Family!

Sunday night's Eagle's Nest was absolutely wonderful, and progressive building. As some of you have noticed since the Eagle's Nest's inception the mission has been to build upon the elements of creating community. When I talk about "community" I am referencing it's foundation from a deeper perspective, thus under the surface, community creation is built upon support, and the support of others. We all get some where in life due to the support of others, hence someone recognized our gifts, and or weaknesses and came to our aid, or helped open a door towards our destiny! The essence of community is not just built with individuals, it's build with the essence of "doing"/ "helping".. The affirmation for this coming week is: "Be totality honest with myself" getting to the truth of matters. Praying for the ABILITY to be honest with oneself. What will be revealed for you??

Happy Pondering Family!

Buffalo Talk With Skuya Fasthorse From The Lakota Nation

Greetings Family,

Buffalo Talk With Skuya was wonderful as usual! She had a very special guest on Thursday evening,  Randy Bardwell  owner and, CEO of Native Threads. This is from their website:
"Native Threads products are the real thing. As one of Indian Country’s only Native-owned and operated clothing companies, Native Threads has been planting seeds and building a loyal family of customers throughout North America since 1990. Through grassroots efforts, such as powwows and direct sales, our seeds have taken root". http://www.nativethreads.com/about/
"Our designs are contemporary, yet the messages are very traditional, cultural, and conscious of the social, political and economic current trends that affect Native peoples. By combining these elements, our clothing helps give Native people clarity about who they are in this place and time. By providing constant reminders about our past, our products help bring to the surface the pride we carry inside of us"
What I love about Native Threads is that it's a company that uses the tool of clothing to preserve American Indian Culture, and heritage. In addition, they are really involved with the well-being of our Native youth. Now who could argue with that motto! In any age of existence, the youth of our world communities is so important, hence they are the individuals who will carry on ancient knowledge from the elders.Without the youth, civilization would not survive tradition, and culture, which is the glue that holds the fabric together. By the way, Check out one of their ROCKING t- shirts that Skuya Fasthorse, the host of Buffalo Talk is wearing!

Is that not a ROCKING t-shirt for the summer! For more information about Native Threads, check out their wonderful website for the latest summer gear http://www.nativethreads.com/

Metaphysical Artists Ras Terms And Safty First aka Danny King

Greetings H2O Family,
We had a wonderful show with artists Ras Terms, and Safety First this past Wednesday. If you missed the show here is the link http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theh2onetwork/2011/03/30/metaphysical-artists-ras-terms-and-safety-first-aka-danny-king
Art is such an important element of the world we live in, thus without it's existence the world would not exist in the first place. Imagination is what reality is built upon, thus it is through art/ imagination that reality manifests itself into the real! In essence, civilization past, and present was founded on the foundation of arts principals. I perceive that everyone is an artist in someway shape or form. All one has to do is pull it out from being hidden with-in the curves of the essence of darkness. Yes, I know easier said than done, BUT IT CAN BE by listening to the silence that resonates with-in you and all around you. Creation is always speaking to us all we have to do is listen. Through the essence of art we will change the fabric of the world! Checkout more of Ras Terms, and Safety firsts art work on FaceBook http://www.facebook.com/#!/terockatronic

I hope this interview inspires you to be a creator in anyway possible! Much love family!

The Eagle's Nest With Khadijah Abdullah

Greetings Family,

Sunday evenings broadcast of "The Eagle's Nest" was wonderful ! The topic that was discussed was the element of the law of Attraction! Now I know what your thinking, "The Law of Attraction is so over rated!" But...I think that one might get a different view point when you listen to last Sunday's show. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theh2onetwork/2011/02/14/the-eagles-nest-with-khadijah-abdullah

After you listen to this week's past show, really think about how you have attracted what is taking place in your life, and how you attracted what you are experiencing now. Really pay attention to what "tools" you used to manifest particular people, and situations in your life. What I mean by tools are; how you used your language to ritualized certain energies, hence allowing them the manifest. Secondly, observe what actions you ritualized in your life as well. an example of this would be repeating the same bad habits that produce the same results. We all do this including myself, but we expect different outcomes to the equation, which as we all know never works. Khadijah would love for you to share these insights next week. You might be quite surprised as to what the findings are! More importantly, what you discover about yourself!
